(2011) 14% abv, Screwcap. Wow! The nose is total exuberance and flower-shop, heady fragrance, with geranium and talcum notes soaring from the glass: Torrontés at its most vivacious. The palate has lovely fruit (occasionally Torrontés in the mouth fails to cash the cheque the nose has written) with a fabulous downy peach ripeness and fresh apple acidity. Fabulous stuff this.
(2008) 50/50 Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay blend, barrel fermented but not aged. Quite nutty and herbal, with almond and some green fig, with a touch of green bean. Palate is quite full, with chardonnay character coming through strongly and a nice, powerful intensity.
(2008) Very elegant nose, with a touch of honey and plenty of ripe, pear and star fruit character. There's a very nice freshness and juiciness, with just enough creamy oak. Plenty of orangy acidity and zest and life about it.
