2021 AIX Rosé

Yesterday afternoon the first Rosé of the Year arrived and I put immediately a bottle in the fridge for dinner. By accident I also made/cooked a lovely partner, a pulpo-potato salad. In addition we had sunny 25 C in Berlin.

This 2021 is such fresh, elegant, floral, a basket of red fruits and lovely grace. What a beautiful drinking pleasure. Its based on 60% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 20% Cinsault. Everyone should always have a bottle of Champagne and a bottle of Rosé in the fridge. l`art de vivre

Agreed! We always have rosé and sparkling in the wine fridge. This Friday night we decided to stay home and on the spur of the moment, for no reason at all, opened a bottle of N/V Lanson Champagne. It was a lovely old bottle, likely about ten years post disgorgement. L'art de vivre indeed.

PS: We had the champagne on its own but our fry pan was filled with pieces of beef flank, peppers, garlic, and mushrooms and accompanied with a 2005 Kunde Estate Cabernet Sauvignon.
