And who says Kiwis don’t do sledging?
That was an impartial critical analysis Mark. And who says Kiwis don’t do sledging?
Anyone but……..As for Buttler : I may have mentioned this before - he is NOT a Test cricketer.Who should be playing instead? (Other than Sir James of Southampton of course…)
Bit harsh on Burns. He scored a battling Test ton against NZ at Lords, in June.Malan and Hameed for Crawley and Burns, presumably. I'd drop both of those before Buttler or Bairstow.
I am (with work - I don't even like cricket - sorry).Anyone going today?

Have a bottle of Cantine Ceci Otello Nero di Lambrusco to enjoy in the stand.
Almost certainly apocryphal & credited to WG amongst others. Not a great toss to win….
Still (Freudian?) in France. As you can no doubt imagine, I'm hunting high & & low for a bottle.Agreed Mark, now about that SBS?
At least you got in 90 overs of cricket Max, a rarity in this day and age.I attended. Arrived outside at 10.00
Joined the right queue. 1 hour 10 minutes to gain entry. Got to our seat with a delayed start and 3 overs gone. For some reason Root the captain had put the Indians in! Very poor opening bowling attack with Anderson etc. Wood came on with Robinson. Wood is quick but bowled far to short. Opening bowlers must make the batsmen play and bowl close to a full length. Very poor organisation getting the folks in. At Adelaide and Lords you must bat first if you win the toss. Curran is average on a batsmen wicket
I do think the wicket keeper could come forward by a metre. A good day out but for £156 one should expect more
What were they doing to keep you waiting in the queue over an hour Max? I was at all 4 days at sold-out Trent Bridge and didn’t queue at all, arriving at what I guess is roughly peak arrival time, c.30 mins before start of play.I attended. Arrived outside at 10.00

Don’t give up your day job Bryan!Malan and Hameed for Crawley and Burns, presumably. I'd drop both of those before Buttler or Bairstow.
Oh the days of wine allowed at the oval...Only Lords allows alcohol to be taken n.
