Couldn’t make it yesterday as had a friend’s wedding to go to…..but today was a well spent hour in the Allen stand. Joe Root was magnificent and notably seemed to be the only England player to come over and sign autographs for the kids after the game. He made my 12 year old’s day.

Foakes did keep wicket efficiently. Personally i think the batting on both sides was poor with a couple of exceptions. After playing India and Aussie a more informed opinion may well surface
