Travel North Sardinian wine visits

Some family in Northern Sardinia next week asking for any fun winery visits. I see from past threads that there are some quite upmarket wineries in the area (eg Dettori). I think they'd be more interested in a good tour and affordable wines. Any suggestions?

Would "Sella & Mosca" fit the bill? I don't know it personally, but Paul Howard (winealchemy, and sometime forumite) rates it. You can find the winery, and Paul's article on it, with a straightforward google.

We enjoyed Sella & Mosca - loads of back vintages available to buy in the cellar shop too at reasonable prices.

It doesn't strictly count as North Sardinia but we had a very interesting and enjoyable visit to Contini - very interesting wines and lovely people
