Return of the silly little things that annoy you thread

Was at F&M yesterday before a quick drink with Oliver. As people know they stop selling foie gras. Silly, IMHO. Anyway, they have this substitution called Foie Royale, "the ethical alternative", which happened to be 75% off!
I was thinking should I try one for just £4.75, and the staff said you can taste a bit for free on their plate... So I did.
It was, really quite bad. Very artificial taste. I would much prefer duck liver pate than this. So I didn't even pay £4.75 to get a heavily discounted jar.

I am not sure what's more annoying me, this bad alternative or shops stop selling real stuffs.
Harrods still has the real stuff, both in “pate” format and in “real” ie ready to be sautéed.

Mobile phone companies hiding behind broken websites. DD wanted more data, and we found the upgrade price plan option. When we clicked on the "details of the plan" we got a web error (404, that sort of thing) and struggled to work out the catches (eg. would she lose free roaming). It would appear that changing price plan is enough to lose that, so it was a big mistake, but we feel pissed off that we were unable to tell in advance. I'm sure they've got it all in T&Cs.

Edit - it's still totally unclear as to whether EU Roaming with Three was applied to all accounts, whether old or new, original or upgraded!

Indeed it has, but I still remember the subtle and fine texture of goose foie gras torchon F&M sold and the "supreme" level of Strasbourgh whole raw foie gras they imported during Christmas time...

Mind you I get ‘triggered’ as they say by people saying “I’m good” in response to “how are you?”
That’s a running battle with my daughter. Then again, I did enjoy winding up my first boss a long time ago at Schroders (an Etonian…) with “To further improve my grammar” as my goal for the year on my annual self appraisal.

As I said before - feel free to be annoyed.

But before you start declaring facts about English you should check in a dictionary. "Hatred" is not the noun it's a noun, and "hate" is another one

Being tail gated by a police car in a 30 speed limit. Bad driving from the people enforcing the good driving.

Same road next day. Pulled over to let a blue lighted fire engine past and the twat from a side road pulls out ,overtakes me and is in front of the fire engine. Upcoming pedestrian crossing means its 200 metres before he can pull in. What was it about the line of cars pulling over and the f***kin great red engine with blue flashing lights speeding past that made him think it safe?

No accounting for stupid drivers. I encountered one today - he was dirving at 60mph in the outside lane of a dual carriageway (national speed limit, so 70mph). He insisted on stay there even though the inside lane was clear enough to pull over and in spite of a tailback building up behind him.
Another one, that I've seen more often than I like, are drivers who insist on driving at 45mph on country roads with national speed limit (60mph), again holding up traffic but then sticking at 45mph when entering a town (with either a 20, 30 or 40mph limit).

Trying to walk on a rocky beach.. or rather trying to keep up with my kids. When did i suddenly become an old lady?
Only slightly annoying as it reminded me of my advancing years, but I was out for a country walk with my 7 year old grandson and there had been some heavy rain so the footpath was really muddy and slidy and I had to keep stopping for breath going up a fairly steep slope, Frustratingly, he just sauntered on without any pause for breath or sliding all over the place and only stopped to wait for me to catch up. Oh to be so young and carefree!!
