SABMiller and Meantime Brewery

Just reading the details of Anheuser-Busch InBev's $108billion buyout of SABMiller. In order to better gain regulatory approval, SABMiller will need to sell off various stakes, including their joint venture with Coors.

The corporate bods over at AB InBev are apparently considering selling Meantime Brewing Co, which SABMiller acquired last Spring. Also of note is that AB InBev bought Camden Town Brewery in December, plus the wonderful Elysian Brewing Co, out of the Pacific North West. Breckenridge Brewery out of Colorado was also picked up.

Not sure where that leaves our favourite local brewery, Saint Archer, who was sold to MillerCoors last autumn. All these high-profile corporate mergers/take over's can be quite dizzying.
