Just had a peek at BBR. Were I in the market, I might be tempted by the Rolly Gassmann or Brundlmayer rieslings, which seem good prices, but I'm not, so I'm not.
Funnily enough these were the only wines that attracted my attention too, but I've bitten. A full 12-bottle case of Rolly Gassmann Riesling Reserve for under £120 delivered was just too good to pass up, if only to supply Mrs B, the daughter and the daughter-in-law (whose wine drinking I subsidise ). I used the same logic to justify buying a six-pack of Brundlmayer's Riesling Steinmassel, but in this case I upgraded top the 2015 at a bit over £11 a bottle instead of the 2016 at under £10.
This purchase was partly inspired by a superb R-G Riesling Pflaenzerreben 2001 which we drank last night.
I'm very glad that there was nothing else to tempt me, although I agree with Thom's comment that there are some lovely wines in the sale.
