San Miguel

I've only drunk relatively decent beer in the last decade or so but today my daughter opened a San Miguel for me. Staggeringly awful stuff, weak dishwater.

Damm Estrella seems to have gained a little foothold recently, and of the type it's something I'd heartily recommend as an alternative. I wonder if the San Miguel is 'brewed under licence' these days. Those three words will automatically put me off, such is the ubiquity of their taste, so often a huge divergence from the taste of the genuine product.

Brewed in the Costa del Northampton by probably the worst brewer in the world.

Estrella Damm Dura is gluten-free and was my wife's tipple when we thought she might be having some gluten issues. For a lager, I was very impressed with it.
