Thanks for the heads up Jeff,
The key here is to see what is on reduction a few days beforehand and earmark, the double dips.
Last year the Piper Red Labels ended up at £14.75, and Bolly NV at circa £26, along with Vintage VCP.
As ever a caution about shopfloor stock applies.

Hopefully they'll restock their shelves by then! Sainsbury's wine aisles have been pretty empty on the last two occasions I've been inside one, wondering if they're experiencing issues...

We shop at Sainsburys Ed, and whilst we haven't noticed any particular wine issues, in the last couple of weeks we've been unable to get aubergines, then fresh herbs, then tinned water chestnuts, and across 2 different Sainsbury branches. Aubergines readily picked up at the first stop (Lidl), herbs from Tesco, water chestnuts from Morrisons. Weird.

I wonder if anyone can shed light on the real unreported scandal, though: the total Nottingham shortage of Fruit Clubs. Tesco, Asda, Mozzers, Sains - the shelves are bare, and I fear the orange variety aren't far behind

Northwich branch had been cleared of most fortified wines so there must be some port aficionados around the area.

Senejac was the 2017 in the local coop... price still scanned at 17 squids.
Annoying when that happens. You would think it’s priced consistently on their system but I spent weeks going back to a coop store near work last year waiting for 2016s to get knocked down only for them to always scan at full price and then lockdown happened so I never did find out if they did
