Tennants Fine Wine Sale - 8th October

Hi again,

Tennants have their largest ever wine sale on the 8th October.

The majority of the sale is formed from one private cellar from Hull and includes a huge quantity of 'interesting' vintage claret and a good mix of modern and old Sauternes (including 24 cases). What I term interesting claret includes lots of 1950's and 1960's first growths and other big names including Margaux, Lafite, Mouton Rothschild, Cheval Blanc etc etc

In total there are 185 lots of Claret in the sale so it will be well worth a look - there is a good mix of owc and mixed parcels to keep most people happy including some large formats of Lynch Bages, Lafite, Mouton etc.

Anyone looking for large format champagne may like the DM of Pol Roger Churchill 1988, a DM of La Grande Dame VC 1990 and even a quadruple mag of Moet 1966 (from the Hull cellar also). There are also bottles of Salon and the typical mix of DP, PR, etc

Although it may not be to everyones taste on here there is also a spectacular line up of cognac and armagnac including 23 magnums of 1897 cognac, around 20 double magnums of 1930's and 1940's armagnac, verticals of HINE and some early 19th century bottlings too.

Speaking of verticals - there is a vertical of Chateau Musar too - from the mid 1980's to the present day and there are even two magnums of the 2015 release of Vega Sicilia.

95% of the wine is duty & VAT paid - 18.5% commission + VAT = 22.2% commission all in.

We can pack (but not dispatch) the wine for you.
