Agreed. It took a while to get going, and I would imagine a lot of people giving up after episode 1 or 2.With Ricky Gervais in the news with such a brilliant opening to the Golden Globe awards I realised we had not watched After Life.
Last night we watched the whole series and it was just brilliant and to me at least, uplifting.
Anyone with access to Netflix who has not watched it might find it a treat.

If you want something to listen to on long drives, I would strongly recommend Hardcore History podcasts. A range of periods covered including ancient Persia/Assyria, WW1, the dawn of the nuclear age etc etc. Done by a former wall st journal reporter and they’re absolutely brilliant.
If vast amounts of gratuitous and extremely graphic sex (of every conceivable variety) and drugs, no plot lines, humour or suspense and a treatment of it’s subject that plays not the slightest resemblance to reality is your thing then I can heartily recommend the HBO/BBC show Industry.
