The A-Team “Labor Pains” episode (1983), in which the soldiers of fortune stop help a couple of labourers on a cabbage farm who’ve been unlawfully prevented from going shopping and solve the problem by
encouraging the entire exploited workforce to unionise.
Guest starring the absolutely peerless John Vernon as The Baddie, and also featuring, in the customary fashion of this show, a homemade weapon made out of cardboard and gaffer tape, in this case
a large bore supercannon which fires cabbages two at a time.
What a great decade the 1980s were in which to be young and/or an NBC producer.

Anyone else watching "Aldi's Next Big Thing" - it's quite fun seeing the show and then being able to try the things out. I was disappointed by the fish shop chicken pie (too dry) but the rum cake was good. The Yorkshire Pudding beer is nice enough, but you wouldn't know there were puddings in there (and I suspect you wouldn't want to!). Quite touched by the autistic chocolate makers (they interview so well) and have purchased some of their chocolates from their website.

I saw the tail end of this week's program and happened to be in an Aldi this morning but didn't see any of the chocolate. Is it only available online? I was in too much of a hurry to ask an assistant.

Not the same sort of thing at all, Dan , but I wonder if you are a fellow enthusiast for Department S and its offshoot Jason King ?

Depressing in parts but I disagree about it being relentlessly depressing. The fourth of the six episodes, though crucial for the backstory, is extremely dark.
It was the ending of the series, Ep 6, that left me feeling that the world is a heartless place and no good will come of it ...
