How do you pour wine out of an 18 lt bottle = (26 bottles) Difficult?
Have you witnessed an opening and pouring?

Now you're just showing offServed a 3L of 06 pol brut for dinner last Thursday and pouring that into champagne flutes without spilling was hard enough!
That is what you call community spirit! My family are not known for being shy around the wine bottle but 10 adults couldn't get through a 6L imperiale a few Christmases ago. You think it's only 600ml each but it only takes one or two tolet the side downbe sensible and suddenly there's a mountain to climb.
I've got an 18L of Excellence de Belliard claret from 2012 which, notwithstanding the bakings it's had each summer, should actually be pretty decent. My best idea so far is to pull the cork on Christmas eve and invite local friends and neighbours to come round with their decanters and fill up.
There are certainly plenty knocking about, watch this space…Wonder if any more of those will be coming to market - I was looking for some fun cheap big formats for a party in early Oct! @Chris Hambleton ?
Looking at the sale price of these I think I might ask our engineering team to look at a UK designed solution..! How about optical detection of sediment to stop pouring as a USP..?
