TN 1999 Rustenburg "Peter Barlow"

  1. A recent find from a local auctioneer. Star-bright fruit, silky tannins, really good grip and lovely balance between acid, fruit and tannin. A truly delicious drop, enjoyed alongside a pork and bean casserole. What's more, we have four more and only cost £25pb!

    Highly recommended.

  2. Thanks Dan. A number of Cape cabs are wonderful with bottle age and as good as many Bordeaux at a fraction of the price . Kanonkop Paul Sauer, Meerlust Rubicon,Le Riche and indeed Rustenberg Peter Barlow are my favourites

  3. excellent - I was eyeing up the one bottle of this I have left the other day, so looks like Sunday dinner wine is sorted.
