Anchor Steam on clearance in M&S...

  1. Well in my local branch anyway... Discount at M&S was deep (from £2.80 to £1) although I think available on multibuy in some Asda stores for £1.50...

Depending on how efficiently your M&S may have left up signage suggesting 25% off all beer and wine so in that case 75p a bottle a good price for an interesting and reliable house beer...

  2. No Anchor Steam in my local M&S, but there were 14 bottles of Suffolk IPA (brewed by Adnams) on clearance for £1.25 each. Although the label wasn't marked, it was also part of a 4 for 3 offer which reduced the price down to 99p per bottle.

There were plenty of other clearance lines on beer and cider so definitely worth a look.

  3. That Adnams beer has been at clearance price for months and months (I wonder why they did it?), but it's a nice one, and is actually £3.75 for four. It's really worth buying if you see it. I haven't seen much else recently, though...The Anchor beer wasn't reduced when I looked. Yes, it's a good one.
