Is there anything decent being, um, indecently discounted?
And plenty of other discounted offers and a pretty decent selection.TWS offer on Roederer Collection 245 at £42 each (for 6 pack) seems pretty good.
What's the 30% off code? Oh... 30OFFThe Laithwaites 30% off brings Roederer 245 down to £31.5, Bollinger to £30 etc.
If you stack 15% Club Lloyds/Halifax offers and for me 8.5% topcashback then they come down to low £20s.
Me too. Needed some Champagne and the LR 245 at just over £31 delivered was too good an offer to resist.I think i just bought from laithwaites for the first time in 15 years...
Did you not get offered free delivery for 6 months?First time ever for me. The £8 delivery charge disappeared as well which was a bonus.
I got that a few weeks ago from TWS and it is an excellent Champagne. However, de Burgh have 20% off at the moment, making it £39.99/bottle (and free delivery for orders over £120)TWS offer on Roederer Collection 245 at £42 each (for 6 pack) seems pretty good.
Just tried this. Topcashback doesn't seem to have tracked it, irritatingly. The Laithwaites 30% off brings Roederer 245 down to £31.5, Bollinger to £30 etc.

No idea. I was prepared to pay the £8 to NI. I've been asked to pay £180 for a case from Justerinis before nowDid you not get offered free delivery for 6 months?
Mine didn't appear until the following day.Just tried this. Topcashback doesn't seem to have tracked it, irritatingly.
What did you go for!?I think i just bought from laithwaites for the first time in 15 years...
My experience with these is that they need at least a year before they show well. I think I made the mistake of feeling that 241 was better than 242, whereas I now believe it was just the additional bottle age that gave it the advantage. Mind you magnum/half-magnum effect may also have been at play.Oddly enough I tried Roederer 245 last night and found it well-crafted but a bit lacking in character.
I've liked Charles Heidsieck Brut Reserve/Mise en Cave, and occasionally bought Comte, so perhaps it's about style, preferring something with a bit more yeast and biscuit about it?
245What did you go for!?
I suspect it’s just age. With that said, Roederer Collection has been kind enough to me that even if I’ve just bought a dozen somewhat characterless but well made wines I won’t regret our relationship.Oddly enough I tried Roederer 245 last night and found it well-crafted but a bit lacking in character.

Even less if you sign up for their subscriptions - which I think the T&Cs allow you to cancel or return at any time (fingers crossed)Me too. Needed some Champagne and the LR 245 at just over £31 delivered was too good an offer to resist.
I have some 244 somewhere. Be interesting to see if it's become something more fun than well-made.My experience with these is that they need at least a year before they show well.
