About pricing in business or wine makers p####d off about punters making easy money on the back of their efforts?
Farr currently selling it for £380/12 IB. Are we looking at the same wine? Batailley 19.Farr presently selling a 6 pack for £270. So £540/12.
Sorry Sean no idea what you are talking about. Can you point to a post in this thread that is about people complaining about making money on buying wine EP? I think the whole thread is about pretty much the opposite!About pricing in business or wine makers p####d off about punters making easy money on the back of their efforts?
I googled batailley 19 and the Farr Web comes top clicking onto it brings up a page that states 47/6, hence presuming that was their price, I didn't investigate further.Farr currently selling it for £380/12 IB. Are we looking at the same wine? Batailley 19.
Ok everyone else is using wine-searcher which generally flags up the cheapest options.I googled batailley 19 and the Farr Web comes top clicking onto it brings up a page that states 47/6, hence presuming that was their price, I didn't investigate further.
Probably true for 'classic' wines but I have noticed recently that a google search will quite often reveal sources which aren't W-S listed, which can be useful.everyone else is using wine-searcher which generally flags up the cheapest options.
Yes me too for a few rarities in champagne. I wonder if more and more merchants might like to be kept off it (no idea how you do that)?Probably true for 'classic' wines but I have noticed recently that a google search will quite often reveal sources which aren't W-S listed, which can be useful.
I'm working on Decanter now, so I spend a lot of time looking for prices and stockists, and this is very true. My very regular interactions with W-S have exposed its limitations and idiosyncrasies.Probably true for 'classic' wines but I have noticed recently that a google search will quite often reveal sources which aren't W-S listed, which can be useful.
