Correct serving temperature for Rutherglen Liqueur Muscat?

  1. I will be presenting The Wine Society's Blind Spot Rutherglen Muscat at a forthcoming wine tasting, and was wondering what board members think re an appropriate serving temperature. Given the alcohol content (17.5%) I was thinking cooler than room temperature, but do you have a more specific take? Thanks in advance.

  2. Cellat temperature for me (10-12c), same as PX - being slightly cooler seems to lighten them slightly.

If you don't have a cellar, chill in the fridge and take out half an hour or so before serving. It's better slightly too cold than too warm to begin, as it will warm up in the glass.

  3. I agree with Richard.
