Eastern German micro-brewery, based in Rostock. You can only buy the beer at the brewery either to consume there or take away in litre bottles. I tried the helles and a dunkel at the brewery. They were both good but the dunkel was a bit sweet for my taste. What I really wanted was the 7% bock that they brew but there was none available when we visited.
From my experience of helles, it appears to be hoppier than lager, perhaps closer to our bitter. The one here was fairly typical.
The beer is bottled unfiltered. It has a fresh taste but probably does not have a long shelf life.
