NWR Jürgen Klopp - the best ambassador for Germany and Football

This news was always going to be a body blow to the club whenever it came, I just thought it would be another few years away. What a manager, what a man, let’s go out with a bang Jurgen!”

„But as a human being as well, the things people might not see, what he does and being around the club and working for the foundation, he's an unbelievable person. He treats everybody the same, doesn't matter whether you're Mo Salah or somebody taking the rubbish out at Anfield or the training ground. He treats everybody the same, he gives you that hug, the smile, he just makes you feel good when you're around him. Just gives you a sense of ease when you're around him. He's just a wonderful human being. He's certainly going to be missed. I'm sure it's the right decision for him.“

In contrast, a GUARDIAN journalist tells us this“

„Did Klopp ultimately get what he came for? One Premier League, won under sterile pandemic conditions. One Champions League, won in a substandard final courtesy of a questionable penalty. One FA Cup and one League Cup, each won on penalties after a 0-0 draw against Chelsea.“

What a crock! Maybe I get it wrong but does the author suggest that all the success is tainted???

Absolutely gutted by this news and somewhat apprehensive about who can carry on his legacy. A lovely interview on the BBC with Pep after the City game last night really demonstrates the impact of the man. Really proud to have had him as our man for the last 8 years and whilst really sad to see him go, I am glad that he gets to leave on his terms. Fingers crossed he get to go out with a bang
