The tiny loo seats in america. Why would the country with the fattest backsides on earth have the smallest loo seats?
Hope? The tiny loo seats in america. Why would the country with the fattest backsides on earth have the smallest loo seats?
Aspirational ’til the end….Hope?
Perhaps it only worked when one breathed through it.Mark, that reminds me of a sign I saw in Homebase once when the product was described as an 'Aspirational Lavatory Brush Holder'. Is that what it wanted to be when it grew up? Or was it hoping for promotion to be the Lavatory Brush itself?
When I was little, butter was sold in 8oz / 227g packs, so when they moved to 250g it felt like a bonus. 200g is just further proof that Fortune's wheel keeps on turning.200g packs of butter.
Are you sure about that? It didn't use to be, but the vast majority of stuff they sell is now available online for delivery.About once every 5 years I have to go and replace the small plates and bowls we use for Olives and nibbles, as you can’t order online.
Then there our mains-powered smoke alarms that have a battery backup in each one, and when the battery is low they beep. And they continue to beep until the battery is replaced by one that is adequate - if you just pull the battery out, the mains power keeps the beeping beep beeping.
Exactly!Otherwise, they route you through every circle of hell to get to your goal.
Even worse: Lurpak - who are the main offender in this respect, now also pack butter in a 180g box.200g packs of butter.
The mains powered ones that we had seem to have been discontinued, and we now have a solely battery powered one that fits in the same slot. Seems much more reliable (in as far as - fewer unwanted beeps, we still haven't been set on fire).Mrs Holland reported one of these an hour ago... This would be my job to investigate but I'm 150 miles away until tomorrow evening...
Were you watching last Friday's episode of Not Going Out?Things that beep, especially when there is no way of turning the beep off.
Or when you cannot locate the source of the beeping, and spend what seems like hours tracking the bugger down in a room filled with various electronic devices.
