Any thoughts on how drinkable these might be? The Noble One is an alarming colour but I see some people trying to sell similar on the web.

Can be used as the base for really good pistachio ice cream - need to make sure you get one with a high pistachio content - my current jars are 45% (Bronte) pistachio, but higher would be fine too.Pistachio cream in jars. A very recent discovery. It's bloody marvellous and so tasty that it almost induces guilt.
Pure 100% Bronte paste is what is used by the best restaurants. It is extremely expensive and only comes in 1kg pots, however. I am always disappointed when my pistachio ice cream is brown and made with roasted nuts, which is what usually happens. Le Gavroche used to make a superb version. Can be used as the base for really good pistachio ice cream - need to make sure you get one with a high pistachio content - my current jars are 45% (Bronte) pistachio, but higher would be fine too.
Very close to where I was brought up - in fact my Dad covered Corton parish matters for the local paper for many years. It is twinned with Aloxe-Corton - I wonder who got the better end of that deal, although sadly twinning privileges never extended to the Corton correspondent or his immediate family. One in Suffolk too
