Treason IPA

  1. Bottle 330ml 6%

Aroma of citric and tropical fruit with some sweet malt. Taste is fruity, leading with grapefruit and orange but with tropical fruit becoming more evident. Finish is moderately bitter and fruity with peach or mango(I am not sure which) dominant.

This is brewed at Windsor and Eton brewery as a separate project by the son of the head brewer. It is a fruit salad of a beer. I would have liked a little more bitterness but it is tasty and well balanced. I would buy this again. It says on the bottle it is bottle-conditioned but I could not see any sediment.

    I got this at Waitrose.

  2. Hi Hugo - sounds like the spitting image of a West Coast IPA. I wonder what hops were used?
