Yukon Brewing Co.

Not often I visit this forum section and guess any beer I post on is not likely to be available in UK area but here goes nevertheless.

Dial K for Kolsch is a saskatoon berry beer, 650 ml. Bready pale malt nose, rather tame I thought. Medium bodied, light carbonation. Slightly tart on the finish, thought it could use more berries, off-dry.
I am not a big beer drinker but enjoyed this one.

Welcome to the dark side Bob. The tartness is probably soured beer added to counter the sweetness, in the lambic style. This style of beer, mastered by the Belgians, is the one wine drinkers are often drawn to.
