“I don’t know much about wine…but I know what I like…”

After hearing this line for the zillionth time, Manchester Wine School owner Simon Woods decided it was time to do something about it. So he wrote a book with that title. It went down pretty well too, being voted Wine Book of the Year at the Prix Du Champagne Lanson Wine Awards in competition with volumes from such luminaries as Hugh Johnson, Oz Clarke and others.

And having heard the line several more times since taking over MWS in 2018, Simon’s decided it’s time to put together a mini-course looking at what it is that people just getting into wine REALLY want to know.
