Tom Cannavan will be your host and quizmaster. The quiz runs from 7pm until approximately 8:30pm and tickets cost £10 per household.
This is a fun night to lead us into the festive season. It is not a quiz aimed at MW students and Mastermind champs – and you don’t have to be a wine geek to play.
Of course, your knowledge of the world of wine will be tested in the quiz, but there will also be general knowledge rounds including rounds on movies, music, history, and literature. All questions will have some connection to wine.
This is very much a social evening, so whether you are flying solo, playing with family, or inviting round a houseful of friends, it will be a light-hearted and fun way to kick-off the festive season. We’ll be playing via Zoom and our multiple choice format means everyone has a chance of winning. Your household will compete as a team to answer 40 questions covering a range of wine-related categories. A glass or two while you play is not really optional!
This is all about the glory and bragging rights, but I can run off a prize certificate for you to proudly display on your wall if you insist 😊.
