This tour of the Old World wines and regions will:

• introduce you to the major grape varieties
• enable to you select French, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese wine with more confidence
• give you the hints and tips necessary to decipher wine labels and understand regions
• teach you principles of food and wine pairing

The flexible course runs over 4 consecutive Fridays starting at 7pm. IF YOU NEED TO SKIP ANY we can arrange for you to have a recording OR credit you so you can attend a later evening in our programme.

• Week 1 Bordeaux, France
• Week 2: Piemonte, Italy
• Week 3: Northern Spain (NOT Rioja)
• Week 4: Burgundy

We have put together a preferred wine list for a case of 12 for this course from two major suppliers which you may optionally buy separately or buy from your own preferred supplier.
