Temple Bruer (Australia) Langhorne Creek Shiraz/Malbec 1996
A dark chocolate, mulberry and eucalyptus nose immediately suggests Australia. Masses of sweet, ripe, Porty fruit and a treacle note. The palate is more serious and tannic than the nose suggests, with plenty of acidity. It is long, savoury, dark and tannic into the finish, but is well balanced with black fruit flavours.
