Pale straw/green colour. The nose has nettles, crisp green apples and citrus fruit. The palate has a real lemony freshness, with some nice pear-drop fruitiness and an almond note. Good acidity. It is quite a simple and straightforward wine, but it’s also very pure, nicely made, cheap and lovely stuff. 3.79, Safeway
