Martins (Argentina) Andino Malbec/Bonarda
A lovely, juicy, savoury and intriguingly fruited wine from Mendoza, this is another easy choice for wine of the week. The colour is a pale to medium ruby and the warm, spicy-laden aromas give way to earthy plum and berry-scented fruit with a little tobacco note. On the palate it is full of soft, gluggable bramble fruit, little bitter cherry notes and plenty of dark, earthy, spice and cedarwood. Lovely stuff that Argentina does so well at this price level.
