Banrock Station (Australia) Chenin Blanc/Semillon/Chardonnay 1998
This is a really attractive wine at the price, with its pale gold colour and nose of spice, wax and wool, with notes of cinammon and cloves. The palate is full, flavoursome and smoothly-textured with buttery citrus fruit, excellent balance and good length. Lovely summer drinking. Sainsbury, Safeway 3.49.
