Conde de Siruela (Spain) Ribera del Duero 1995
From arguably Spain’s finest red wine region, the nose is creamy and dense with blackcurrant, mint and liquorice aromas. On thepalate there is plenty of tannin over a core of smoky plum and blackberry fruit. A wine that is structured and serious enough tobenefit from 2 or 3 years cellaring, but which would be great now with lamb or a juicy steak. Sainsbury 7.49
