23/04/00 – Norton (Argentina) Torrontes 1999

Norton (Argentina) Torrontes 1999
This wine has a pale green/gold colour. It has an intensely perfumed floral nose with hints of confectionery, violets and zingy lime and tropical fruit. The palate is quite light, and those zippy lime and lemon flavours carry through. There’s a fine sense of purity and freshness with crisp acidity, but the wine is very easy to drink with only 12% alcohol. The Torrontes is an Argentinean speciality, always very aromatic and delicate, and worth trying to see if this style is your cup of tea. UK Stockists: Oddbins 4.49
