Is this the same firm that was Bordeaux Direct / the Sunday Times Wine Club?
whites were not too acidic, drinkable, and the reds would be slightly sweet but again palatable. In comparison to what had come before, they were a s
As does the BA Wineflyer site. (another Laithwaites spin-off). Check out some of their prices. Holy moly.Yes. And the STWC still operates.
Where was this, Slaughter and May? I got a pot plant and a bottle of Veuve Clicquot
And, of course, Avery's.Yes. And the STWC still operates.
Do their vouchers work for that?As it’s been said above their EP offers can be useful.

I sent my Mum a box of Fortnum crackers for Christmas. Instead they delivered some chocolates. After 4 days of trying to speak to someone to resolve the issue they ended up saying keep the chocolates (on us) and we’ll send you the crackers but only in time for NYE. Overall a very unsatisfactory experienceI looked at the Fornum Mason box that was meant to be delivered to me (but got lost). That is Dogshit++ Even their "luxury" case at £240 for 12 bottles gives me generic unbranded filth (Verdecchio, Crozes Hermitage etc etc)
It really is quite astonishingly poor - I mean, someone has made a specific decision to buy in (I assume) a tonne of bulk wine, add made up labels to them and sell them on for c£20 a bottle.
I presume that is how this works? I am pretty sure if I took the effort to look up some of these "presitgious wine estates" they would look like an indistrial Chernobyl factory.
I'm currently awaiting a F&M delivery (just for some chocolates) - total order a mere £24.I sent my Mum a box of Fortnum crackers for Christmas. Instead they delivered some chocolates. Perfect Cellar seem to do something of this sort each year (£189 for 24 diff wines, 100ml each - just checked the wines from this year on their website and they are pretty decent with a good variety). If anybody on here has access to small bottles, and could curate some sort of wine advent calendar for next year, made up of actually decent small / half bottles... I would be interested.

Curses. It's in the post apparently. Still, I'm takiing that as a gain, since overall the cost equated to £4.I'm currently awaiting a F&M delivery (just for some chocolates) - total order a mere £24.
I kinda forgot I'd ordered them, and without prompting from my end:
They've apologised for the late delivery on Monday, and issued a £10 gift voucher.
Then apparently failed to send yesterday too, so have now issued another £10 gift voucher.
I'm deeply hoping they fail to deliver today, so I will end up having made £6 and get some free chocolates.
However the fine wine department puts together a very comprehensive Burgundy EP offer every year, they have some nice allocations.
