The Josephine glassware range reviewed

Bad luck to those who entered the competition but failed to win: I asked Jospehinenhutte to make the 'draw' from the 4,000+ entries (so temptation to fiddle was removed from me :)) and the winner was a Mr Speed from Cambridgeshire - who of course may be a forum 'lurker', and if so, congratulations to him.

I believe Jospehinenhutte are very pleased with the competition, so who knows, they may choose to run another at some point.

I went to a restaurant in Trier a few nights ago called Bagatelle and all their glasses and carafes were Josephine. Having thought the glasses looked ugly in online photos, I was surprised how aesthetically pleasing they were in the flesh - I thought they were beautiful and showed the wines really well!

Oh ye of little faith :)
