(2005) Sweet, clean, ripe but very pure and focused pear and gently floral fruit. The palate has a sherbetty lime quality, with medium body and a dry, tangy lemon and lemon pith finish. Well balanced.
(2005) Screw-capped again, this has a slightly tanky, confected aspect to the nose that will settle down. There are plenty of ripe fruit aromas, which are very fresh and limey. The palate is clean and again filled with lime fruit. It has a waxy texture and weight in the mouth, and the ripe, sweet-edged fruit is tempered by lots of citrus fruit and acidity. A lovely wine that will cellar.
